Gerard Zentner

Gerard has been involved in the parts business since his preschool days. Gerard started in the agricultural industry,then expanded his experience into the automotive, heavy truck and off-highway industries.

Learning the parts business through customers’ eyes gave him a strong sense of customer service and the desire to help them achieve their goals. Understanding what is needed as well as treating all with respect and professionalism.

Gerard has worked extensively in the drivetrain industry throughout Canada and the United States, focusing mostly on wholesale distribution of parts, including gearing and driveline.

Maureen is Gerard’s wife and business partner. She handles the accounting for Capital Gear, a job she shares with Maggie, the Accounts Receivable “enforcer”!

Maureen has been married to Gerard for a long time and has supported his career over the years. She was more than ready for Gerard to open Capital Gear, a fulfillment of a dream for him!

Together they have two children – Matt and Emilie, who also help out at Capital Gear whenever they are needed, making it a real family affair!

Jerry has a strong background in sales and marketing. His passsion goes back as far as he can remember. Over the years, Jerry has been accumulating the knowledge required to help customers with their parts needs.

To this day, Jerry continues to acquire the knowledge he needs to effectively help with any and all part needs, as his customers needs change.

Grant's knowledge and love for classic cars makes him a great fit to manage Capital Gear's growing Motorsports division.

Dan has been tearing apart, analyzing and rebuilding automotive to off-highway units for 35+ years.

Dan is very methodical and precise when dealing with every unit. He takes great pride in his work to ensure Capital Gear's customers are satisfied and most importantly back on the road as soon as possible.

Cory has 15+ years of Customer Service experience working in the oilfield, courier, transportation and industrial hardware industries. Cory also has 6+ years of inside sales experience.

Cory has a great positive attitude and goes out of her way to help customers with their needs.

Chris joined the Capital Gear team in November. He is working part-time while attending the University of Alberta and playing varsity volleyball. Chris is assisting with warehouse duties, and whatever else is asked of him!! He is planning on getting his Business degree at the U of A and wanted to see how a company runs from the ground up!

Maggie joined the Capital Gear family in April, 2006. She hails from Vancouver Island and really enjoys living in Edmonton. She especially loves walks along the river valley and going for long truck rides.

Maggie currently holds two positions at Capital Gear – Accounts Receivable “enforcer” and security. (Rumor has it that she can be easily swayed by the right kind of treats!)
